The Ping Pong 2020 summer season began with great success, where all the children of the public schools of Chincha – Ica Region will develop their talents, and thanks to the management and support of the Mónica Liyau Association, within the framework of the agreement with the Ministry of Education and the Peruvian Institute of Sport, Peru has the First Center for Recruitment of Talents in Table Tennis, which is part of the commitment to focus and promote the multiple benefits that the practice of this sport brings to children. early age.
It is in this talent center where the children with the greatest physical attitudes are identified to develop in this sport in the interest of high competition in search of excellence, aiming to develop world-ranking athletes.
Precisely, to put this great legacy to use, as well as to allow children to enjoy this wonderful sport, the Social Impacting Lives program began its summer 2020 stage, so that everyone has the opportunity to live this unforgettable experience, being part of the summer talent recruitment and training program, which seeks to discover new values and promote table tennis in the best conditions within the framework of the agreement with the DRELM, the MINEDU and the IPD.
The Summer Ping Pong 2020 program takes place at the headquarters of Chincha – Ica Region at the Aurelio Moisés Flores Educational Center. Likewise, the Talent Recruitment Center benefits students from 6 educational centers in the Ica region; José Pardo y Barreda, Santa Ana, Jhon F. Kennedy, Francisco Corbetto Roca, Andrés Avelino Cáceres, San Antonio de Padua and the Aurelio Moisés Flores Educational Center.
“The goal is to have a talent recruitment center in each region where we are, to date we are present in 13 regions of Peru and we are very clear about how crucial sport is in the acquisition of skills for learning and education. of the boys ”, indicated Mónica Liyau, director of the Impactando Vidas Program.
In June 2019, the First “Center for Recruitment of Talent in Table Tennis IMPACTING LIVES” was inaugurated in the province of Chincha – Ica Region.
This sports center managed by the Monica Liyau Association, has been promoting and developing the sports qualities in table tennis of more than 60 children daily.
