Thanks to the management and support of the Mónica Liyau Association, within the framework of the agreement with the Ministry of Education and the Peruvian Institute of Sports, Peru has the First Center for Recruitment of Talents in Table Tennis.

The athlete Mónica Liyau, in alliance with the Ministry of Education, has reached 12 regions of Peru and impacted almost 150 thousand children.

This initiative implemented by the Mónica Liyau Association (AML), in agreement with the Ministry of Education (MINEDU) and the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD), has achieved excellent results throughout its performance, especially among young children from 7 to 14 years, reaching more than 100 public schools in Peru in 11 of the 24 regions of the country.

“Thanks to the initiative of the Impactando Vidas program, Ping Pong will be part of the permanent disciplines of Physical Education classes in a group of public schools in Metropolitan Lima,” Liyau concluded.
